FACES builds support networks, and support networks build families. Support is an essential ingredient for any family-based organization.  We believe that mutual support strengthens families.  We work with local and private agencies to develop family-run peer support networks, so that families can learn from one another and develop relationships. NEED HELP STARTING A SUPPORT NETWORK?

Check out Foster Care Central at www.fostercarecentral.org. This organization provides an on-line support network for foster families across the country. FACES has established a group on this network for families in Virginia. If you are not yet a member you can become one by registering and establishing a username and password.

We know it is tough to get away from home for support group meetings, so we hope that connecting with families on the internet will give you the connections you need to get your questions answered and learn from the experiences of others just like you.
