Another Landmark Step for Kids

Congress has passed and the President has signed a bill being heralded by some as Fostering Connections II for its landmark importance. 

The Child and Family Services Improvement and Innovations Act will provide new protections to children in the child welfare system and improve on existing requirements.

Please be sure to write your member of Congress and the President to thank them for caring enough about kids to pass this Act. You can email them directly from the FACES website. Also, from the FACES website you can learn more about the bill by clicking on issues and typing in HR 2883 or you can use this link to get direct information and the bill language.

Please take time to learn more about the changes to come as a result of this legislation.
