“The Brighter Tomorrows…Begin Today!” Program includes all you need to know for an educational and inspiring conference experience. In the program, you will find the conference agenda, workshop descriptions, and meal selections for this exciting 3-day event. Please complete the Workshop Mall and Meal selection form for each registered individual in your family. For the Workshop Malls, print the workshop number in the appropriate section indicating your first and second choices. Every attempt will be made to honor each registrant’s first choice. Workshops will be confirmed during onsite registration. Completed Workshop Mall and Meal Selections should be returned no later than April 5, 2008 by mail to:

Youth Conference Information

Note: The consent form must be signed by the appropriate individuals and be presented to FACES before the youth will be permitted in the conference. Families should bring these forms with them to the conference registration table.

FACES of Virginia Families hosts its Premier Annual Conference “Brighter Tomorrows…Begin Today!” and concurrent youth conference “The Power to Be”

This conference will feature reknowned keynote speakers Ashley Rhodes-Courter, Jaiya John, Jennifer Lauck, Heather Forbes, and Dr. Robert B. Hill. This three day event is sponsored by Freddie Mac Foundation in partnership with the Virginia Department of Social Services, and will include workshop malls addressing all aspects of Foster, Adoptive and Kinship care. Participants will enjoy a host of resource booths, and plenty of opportunities for networking and shared family fun.

Concurrent Youth Conference “The Power to Be” will feature workshops for youth ages 12-21 and will stage the first ever FACES Talent and Fashion Show. Join us at the Charlottesville Doubletree Hotel on April 18-20, 2008. Register today as a FACES member and save.
